Elton John announces UK dates for his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour

Sir Elton John has announced a string 2020 UK dates of his massive Farewell Yellow Brick Road world tour.

He kicks off with two dates at London's The O2 in November, and the tour will then head to Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester, Aberdeen, Glasgow, and Leeds.

Tickets for the shows go on sale on Friday, November 16 at 10am.

Elton said of the shows: “The Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour will take us to many places that have meant a lot to me over the last fifty years, but these UK shows will be incredibly special.

"The UK is home, and where my heart will always be. To celebrate some of the incredible moments we’ve shared with my British fans over the years will be wonderful. These homecoming shows will be very emotional, and a lot of fun.”

The three-year tour will feature over 300 shows across five continents, before finally ending in 2021.
