Sir Rod Stewart is one of Celtic FC's most famous fans.

Despite being born in Highgate, London, his dad was Scottish which certainly rubbed off on him.

Rod's dad Robert was a Hibs fan from Leith, but a chance meeting with Scottish football legend Jock Stein meant that Stewart instead picked the Hoops as his team.

Celtic had an important result on Sunday (May 1), their 1-1 home draw with Rangers means they're six points clear at the top of the Scottish Premier League, and Stewart made the trip from his Harlow home to be there.

And after the match he joined many fans piling into the Dirty Duchess pub on Glasgow's Argyle Street.

"Celtic means everything to me!" Sir Rod Stewart explains his love for the Hoops

Perhaps it was busy, because Sir Rod decided to hop over the taps and help out with a spot of bartending.

"Great to have spare bartender Rod ‘the mod’ Stewart tonight! #discoshifter #robstewart #mondown" said the pub on its Facebook page.

It's a wonder that Rod has time to moonlight at the Duchess, given his busy schedule.

Last year, Stewart released his 32nd solo studio album The Tears of Hercules, which went all the way to number one in the UK albums chart.

He also picked up his Hits residency in Las Vegas, announced a full UK tour, and also reformed Faces for their first new studio recordings in four decades.

And if that wasn't enough, Rod also took a moment to help fill some potholes in his local area, complaining that they were playing havoc with his Ferrari.
