Ringo Starr has collaborated with stars from Toto and Linda Perry on an upcoming EP.

The four-song Change The World was recorded at the former Beatles' drummer's own Roccabella West studio and follows March's Zoom In EP.

As announced on talkshoplive, the EP will be released on September 24, 2021 and is available for pre-order now.

"I've been saying I only want to release EPs at this point and this is the next one," Ringo said.

"What a blessing it's been during this year to have a studio here at home and be able to collaborate with so many great musicians, some I've worked with before and some new friends."

Joseph Williams and Steve Lukather of Toto have written and play on lead track 'Let's Change The World', which is available to stream now.

The song also features backing vocals from Amy Keys, Zelma Davis, Billy Valentine and Darryl Phinnessee.

Ringo has co-written 'Just That Way' with his longtime engineer Bruce Sugar, which also features Tony Chen on guitar, Fully Fullwood on bass and Ed Roth on Hammond B3, with Zelma and Zho Davis on backing vocals.

Meanwhile, former 4 Non Blondes leader and hit songwriter/producer Linda Perry has written and plays on 'Coming Undone', her first collaboration with Ringo. The track also features Trombone Shorty.

The closing track of the EP is a cover of 'Rock Around The Clock', the groundbreaking Max C Freedman/James E Myers rock 'n' roll classic made famous by Bill Haley & his Comets.
