Neil Young confirms he has married actress Daryl Hannah

Neil Young has confirmed that he is now married to American actress Daryl Hannah.

The rock icon referred to the Splash star as his wife in a message released alongside a live recording of his Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young track 'Ohio'.

It has been rumoured for several months that they had married after blues guitarist Mark Miller posted a message of congratulations online.

In the video, Neil said: "everything's great, just cruising along... writing songs about love."

"My wife Daryl and I put this video together to reflect on," he added.

He previously divorced his first wife, singer-songwriter Pegi Young, in 2014 after 36 years of marriage.

Daryl Hannah directed her husband in the Netflix film Paradox, while he also wrote the soundtrack for the film.
