Eagles have announced a massive outdoor show on their 50th anniversary tour.

The rock giants will play London's Hyde Park on Sunday, June 26 as part of the BST Hyde Park series of shows.

A full supporting bill will be announced in the coming months, but already confirmed on the lineup are Robert Plant + Alison Krauss.

Tickets go on sale a week today, on Friday, November 5 at 9am and are priced from £74.95 plus fees. An American Express pre-sale is open now.

Eagles current lineup is made up of Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B Schmit, with Vince Gill and Deacon Frey.

They'll be playing songs from across their five decades, including 'Hotel California', 'One of These Nights', 'Life in the Fast Lane' and 'Desperado'.

The London show is part of the band's 50th anniversary celebrations, which also includes shows at Liverpool’s Anfield Stadium on June 20, Edinburgh’s BT Murrayfield Stadium on June 22 and Dublin’s Aviva Stadium on June 24.

Eagles are one of the biggest selling bands in rock history, with Their Greatest Hits the biggest selling album in US history, and Hotel California being the third.

The group was formed in LA in 1971 by Glenn Frey (guitars, vocals), Don Henley (drums, vocals), Bernie Leadon (guitars, vocals) and Randy Meisner (bass guitar, vocals).
