Teen Idols Weekend is coming to Gold this Easter! How to listen

Over the Easter Weekend, Gold are celebrating YOUR Teen Idols.

You had their posters, you copied their fashion (you may even have been a fully paid-up member of their fan club!) and across the Long Easter Weekend on Gold, we’re celebrating them, with Gold’s Teen Idols Weekend.

All weekend we will be playing songs from the greatest teen idols of all time, from Elvis Presley to The Rolling Stones to ABBA.

Were you wild about the Osmonds? Couldn't get enough of the Beatles? Did you have David Essex posters on your wall? We'll hear all about it.

Starting on Good Friday (April 6), James Bassam kicks off Teen Idols Weekend at 8m, with four hours of fantastic music.

James will play classic songs from your favourite teen idols, and we'll also hear your stories about just what made them so special. After James, there will be four more hours of legendary teen idols until 4pm.

David Andrews then takes over on Saturday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday from 8am to 12pm.
