Founded by singer Debbie Harry and guitarist Chris Stein, Blondie were one of the freshest bands of the 1970s.

Mashing up classic rock 'n' roll influences and power pop with the burgeoning punk and new wave scenes – along with a sprinkling of disco – Blondie were one of the most arresting bands of the 1970s.

They recording a string of incredible singles and quartet of classic albums before the decade was out.

They split in 1982, but had a triumphant reunion in 1999 with the massive single 'Maria' and album No Exit, and have kept on going.

Their last album was 2017's Pollinator and they're bringing all their massive hits to the UK this spring (COVID permitting) with former guitarist of The Smiths Johnny Marr in support.
