Sir Cliff Richard is recording his first Christmas album in nearly two decades.

While he's well-known for his seasonal hits, Sir Cliff's last festive album came 19 years ago with 2003's Cliff at Christmas.

That album combined eight new recordings with Cliff's existing Christmas back catalogue, including chart-toppers 'Mistletoe and Wine' and 'The Millennium Prayer'.

According to The Mirror, Sir Cliff has been recording his new Christmas album in the balmy surroundings of Miami, Florida.

The rock 'n' roll icon actually revealed that he was in the studio way back in July, but didn't let on what he was recording.

Fantastic day at Criteria studios in Miami 🌴☀️ Can you guess what I could be doing here? 🤔😁

"Can you guess what I could be doing here?"

Sir Cliff's last studio album was 2020's Music... The Air That I Breathe, which went all the way to number 3 in the UK albums chart.
