The music legend closed last night's award ceremony, reuniting with Faces' members Ronnie Wood and Kenney Jones for the final performance of the evening.

Sir Rod Stewart closed last night's BRIT Awards with a performance of 'I Don't Want to Talk About It' and a welcome reunion with Faces' members Ronnie Wood and Kenney Jones.

The 'Maggie May' star took to the stage at the O2 yesterday (February 18) for the final performance of the annual event, singing alongside The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

"Ladies and gentleman, thank you once again for having me. This show may be 40 years old, but the Faces are now 50 years old," Rod Stewart said as he addressed the audience.

"There used to be five of us, there's only three of us now so let me bring out Ronnie Wood and Kenney Jones please."

The reunion was met with a roar of applause and cheers from the audience as Wood and Jones made their way onto the stage.

"Here he is, my old mucker," Stewart joked as he embraced Ronnie.

The two rock stars stayed centre stage for a lively performance of 'Stay with Me', as Kenney Jones provided the drums for the hit tune.

Rod Stewart wasn't nominated for any awards at this year's ceremony – but he's already won the Outstanding Contribution prize, bagging the prestigious accolade back in 1993.

Other top stars who took to the stage last night included Harry Styles, Lizzo and Lewis Capaldi.
