After thousands of votes, we can reveal the results of Gold's Festive 50 for 2022!

The Pogues and Kirsty MacColl's classic 1987 song 'Fairytale of New York' has topped the poll of favourite Christmas songs of all time for a third year running.

The famous duet was top of the countdown, ahead of two 1973 glam rock classics: Slade's 'Merry Xmas Everybody' at number two and Wizzard's 'I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday' at three.

Wham! finished fourth with 'Last Christmas', while Greg Lake completed the top five with 'I Believe in Father Christmas'.
